The things I’d buy right now…*

January 23, 2018Everything, Lifestyle

what I'd buy

…if I hadn’t wrote the spending ban post.

I’m fully aware it’s not been long since I wrote that post. And yes I’m struggling just a bit. But no fear, I’ve been doing pretty well so far. Apart from the occasional greggs sausage roll… Last week I even turned down a trip to Meadowhall for fear of temptation. But that’s not to say my eyes haven’t been wandering. I pretty much always have something on my mind, whether that be big or small. Except around my birthday or christmas, typically. So I thought I’d torture myself even more by compiling it all into one nice, convenient place.

So here we are!

Of course I love buying beauty products. And currently I’m super into haircare, something I’ve not really spoken about on here before. My hair never seems to be satisfied by the shampoos I use, so my first sneaky (but needed) purchase would be a lil’ something in this department. Perhaps a *L’Occitane natural shampoo offering? In the skincare aisle, of course I’ve been eying up the latest Glossier release – their Solution Skin Perfector. I can’t resist a good chemical exfoliant and their dreamy marketing has me on hook.

Books. Yes yes I will eventually read the books I own. But the ones I’m eager to own next are Eat Up by Ruby Tandoh and The Spectacular Now by Tim Tharp. The first being a book all about celebrating food and falling back in love with it, a very me book. While the second is a book I’m 99% sure I used to own but have somehow lost and would like back very much please and thank you.

Clothing wise I want a good hat. Does that count as clothing? I’m ~almost~ tempted enough to finally give into the baker boys. But I’m just not convinced on the logistics of them with curly hair. Of course there’s also my long term lover – the beret. And I found an amazing mustard one on ASOS which is just begging me to buy it… speaking of ASOS actually. Those. Pyjamas. The ones which you could wear on a night out. I want them. Or any pyjamas actually. I just love fresh pjs. Who doesn’t?

And finally, possibly the most ridiculous of all the things I currently want and will definitely maybe not buy. The Jade Facial Roller. Honestly, I don’t know why I want this. I don’t need it at all. But c’est la vie.

So for now those are the things I’m itching to buy. Feel free to tempt me on instagram.

Haha! You’re totally like me in that, you have lots of books waiting to be read, but you can’t resist lusting over others – so bad 😛

i’ve been a bit of a soap brow convert lately but can’t deny how quick and easy brow gel is - soap definitely requires more concentration to master. Using @benefitcosmeticsuk products - goof proof pencil to underline and add definition to the front of my brows (not my fave, their precisely my brow pencil is the goat) and their 24 hour clear brow gel to brush the hairs up up up ☁️ #benefitbrows
